ESTATE PLANNING

While planning for medical emergencies or death may be difficult, it is necessary.  We help review your assets, liabilities and family circumstances to create a customized estate plan. Powers of Attorney ensure that someone you trust is appointed to act and make decisions on your behalf when you are unable to. A Last Will and Testament ensures that your wishes are documented and your loved ones are provided for.

ESTATE ADMINISTRATION

Estate administration takes place when an individual dies. The deceased’s possessions (real estate, personal belongings, money, etc.) become a part of their estate. Estate administration is the process of collecting and managing the estates assets , paying debts and taxes, and distributing the remaining property to the beneficiaries of the estate. If a valid Will exists, it acts as a roadmap for the Estate Trustee and the assets will be distributed in accordance with the terms outlined in the Will. We help Estate Trustees navigate their responsibilities in the estate administration process.
